FAQ

This has never happened, but fortunately I have a deep bench of several licensed and experienced colleagues who I know would knock your ceremony out of the park as well as I would. Your ceremony will already be completely written by me, of course, and I would call on one of my colleagues to seamlessly step in and read and perform what you and I have created together.

No.  Rehearsals are not required and not absolutely necessary, unless you have a large number of participants in your wedding party (i.e. bridesmaids, groomsmen, etc.), or if you will be doing a unity ceremony or ritual that requires other people to take part.  I can let you know if you really need one, and I can give you instructions as to how to run a rehearsal yourself, which is a nice bonus!

Sometimes, wedding planners and wedding coordinators include rehearsals as part of their package and fee you pay them.

If you booked the personalized option, you will get a private rehearsal included.  You will learn how and what to do during the ceremony and also useful logistic details.  This will help you relax, be confident and be in the moment, and we can have some fun too!

There’s a $250 fee for one-hour rehearsals.  I need to know if you need a rehearsal from the start because I may be booked for the date you want.  I ask for full rehearsal fee and you must have a date and place when booking it.  Rehearsals are held from Monday through Thursdays and from noon to 5, as I perform ceremonies during weekends.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

After we meet or chat and you decide to book me, you may pay half of the ceremony option you choose via Venmo or PayPal.  I ask for a 50% booking retainer to save your day, and I ask for the remaining 50% thirty days or before your wedding date.  Then I start working on your ceremony. If you need to, we can split the payments in three.

If your ceremony is 30 days or less from the time you first inquire, I ask for full payment of the ceremony option you choose.  For same day ceremonies, I ask for cash only.

You apply for the license and pay a fee directly to the Town Clerk’s of the city or town where the ceremony will take place.

You will both need to show two official forms of ID.

I will complete, sign and legally register your original Marriage License with the same Town/City Hall after the ceremony.

After it’s registered with the Town/City Hall, you can obtain a certified copy of the license directly from the Town/City Hall.

You may arrange to have your copy sent to you rather than picking it up in person. (inquire at the Town Clerk’s).

There is a fee payable to the Town Clerk’s to issue copies of the license.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

No.  You get to choose if you want your ceremony to be in English only, Spanish only or bilingual, which is an excellent bonus!

No.  Las ceremonias bilingues estan incluidas en el precio de la opcion que selecciones.  Puedes escoger el lenguaje que prefieras.  Puedes optar por ingles solamente, espanol solamente, o bilingue, lo cual es un bono excelente!
